Course overview

Workplace Investigations come in all shapes and sizes – covering topics such as grievances, misconduct, discrimination, harassment, bullying and whistleblowing. These types of investigations can be undertaken internally by appropriately trained staff.

This course is a practical workshop that includes instructor-led, in-person training and scenarios that bring to life the steps, knowledge and skills required to conduct workplace investigations.

About us

McKinney HR is a team of specialist HR & Organisational Development professionals. Its focus is on “Creating Environments where People and Teams Thrive.” We have designed and delivered Investigation Training for small and large organisations.

I had the pleasure of attending a two-day workshop on Investigation Officer Training. Despite being an experienced HR professional, I found the training to be very informative and concise, and I was able to take additional learning from it.

What worked well was the structure of the workshop which commenced following a clear introduction and the objectives were explained. Thereafter, the delegates were led to the conclusion on how to carry out and work towards completing the investigation process.

The training was presented through discussion, supporting paperwork, breakout sessions and role play.
