The Client & Their Needs

The client is a funded organisation.

They are a collaboration on a national basis, a large portion of employees are employed by another organisation but work full time for client.
They operate within specific governance including job grades and pay banding for the sector.

The Cient was concerned that specific Leadership team roles were disadvantaged within the current grades and equivalent roles were available at a much higher salary in similar sectors, presenting a retention risk.

McKinney HR conducted a review and made a case for specific roles to be regraded. This included benchmarking and recommendations of new salary packages with consideration of an appropriate risk strategy to minimise any future precedent.
